Putting their newfound journalistic interviewing skills into practice, young people from Stoke Newington, Hackney led a short reflection video sharing their views on the 12-week London Green Champions programme.

The group, who consisted of 6 young people, share a love for the natural environment and joined the programme as an opportunity to discuss environmental issues and do more for the planet.

As part of this project, all participants achieved two OCN London qualifications in Photography and Journalistic Interviewing. Their photos captured their local environment around their school, which were showcased as part of our Young Voices exhibition held at St Margaret's House's Gallery Cafe earlier this year, a great achievement for our young people.

This project was produced as a collaboration between Headliners and Stoke Newington School.

Thank you to the National Lottery Community Fund and The Jack Petchey Foundation for making these sessions possible.
