News Headliners (UK) Chair's Festive 2020 Message Headliners (UK) Chair's Festive Message Dear Friends, It has definitely been a tough year for all of us. But with all the sadness and chaos, I have been touched by the good that this crisis has bought out in our society. Whether it is people volunteering to support their community, helping their elderly neighbours with shopping or giving to food banks - we have all learned what is important to ourselves and our communities. At Headliners (UK), we have had to adapt quickly to the new normal. Moving most of our work with young people online, but continuing in person where possible in a Covid secure environment. I can not thank our senior leadership team and the wider staff group enough for their integrity and professionalism throughout the year. I would also like to thank our funders who have provided flexibility for our programmes and also provided additional COVID support to enable us to deliver with the right equipment and PPE. We hope that this continues in 2021 as we continue to fundraise to support our young people. It is clear that 2021 will continue to be challenging, particularly at the start. But I’m sure what we have learned since March - about how to work remotely, at scale and at pace - will set Headliners up for an even brighter future. Merry Christmas all.
