What is it? 

On Thursday 16th February, Headliners (UK) is hosting an exciting London Green Champions tree planting event. The social action event will include activities which will encourage you to have a positive impact on your local environment. The event will be held over a few hours and include a guided litter pick, wildlife photography practise and the chance to plant your own tree in south London's Telegraph Hill Park.

This event is free to participate and is open to young people aged 11-15 years old who share a passion for their environment and community. 

Schedule

From 12pm, we will meet outside main reception of Haberdashers' Hatcham College, SE14 5SF, where we will walk to Telegraph Hill (Upper) park. We will conduct a litter pick in and around the park, learn more about the green-space and wildlife we observe before planting and labelling our tree saplings. There will be an opportunity to explore the scenery and practise some wildlife photography whilst enjoying some snacks onsite.
