Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) affects many people, especially during the winter months. It is a type of depression that correlates with seasonal changes. Although some research has been done, the causes of SAD are still little understood. It is suggested that one of the contributing factors may be the lack of light during colder months.

"I think that it's important that this information is out there because not many people even know about SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) that may suffer from it themselves and by providing people with knowledge and tips it might help them." - Molly, Keeping It Wild Trainee

In this film, young people provide their tips to tackling the cold this winter and encouraging us to get outside. This film was produced by Molly McLaren and Louis Gertler as part of the Keeping It Wild Project.
