Why are many people who engage in nature seen to be of an older generation, and does time and money affect people connecting to nature?

Young people are often a minority within the environmental sector. London Wildlife Trust trainees Bobbi and Shahnoor wanted to unpick the issues of why this might be, and took to the streets in South London to find out from the public whether money had anything to do with it.

Accessability - is that a time thing, or a money thing? or both?

- Shahnoor

In this video, Bobbi and Shahnoor share the responses from their investigation and reflect on their own thoughts of how money affects our connections with nature.

This video was produced by Bobbi Benjamin and Shahnoor Akhtar-Junjua as part of the Keeping It Wild Project.
