To younger females the term ‘feminist’ feels like a taboo phrase. Young women may feel that because we have the vote, ‘equal pay’ and policies protecting our welfare that feminism is outdated.

The image shows a younger girl questioning the relevance of feminism, surrounded by headlines and issues that show that there are many differences and inequalities between men and women in modern society. To me the headlines highlight that ‘feminism’ is still relevant and perhaps needed more than ever.
