Headliners (UK) is looking to recruit a DWP funded Kickstart Project Assistant to support our Digital Transitions project in the North East.

Our role is part of the Government's Kickstart scheme that provides funding to employers to create jobs for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit. Project Assistant would be part of the Headliners (UK) North East Team and would support our Digital Transitions Project. This

The Project Assistant would support the delivery of our project activity. The project focuses on supporting care leavers and care experienced young people to transition into employment or training.

The project supports the development of young people’s life skills including self-organisation, confidence building, life planning, money management and employability development skills.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • To support with the Digital Transitions Project Officer with the Young People sign up process with administration tasks.
  • To book in and set up Young People wellbeing calls by the Project Officer.
  • Type up individual actions plans from notes on the project as directed by the Project Officer.
  • To support with the session planning and delivery of all Digital Transitions project sessions.
  • Create social media content for posting on our charity social media platforms (training will be provided)
  • Commitment to undertake a Level 1 OCN IJT course in Media and Journalism.

Number of hours a week: 25 hours

Rate of pay: National minimum wage
