Digital Citizens aims to fill the digital skills gap in the employment market by improving the digital skills, educational attainment and employability prospects of young people in London.

It also supports young people, particularly those who are vulnerable and who have special educational needs, to stay safe online by improving their critical thinking skills to be able to discern between information that is legitimate opinion and freedom of speech from that which can lead to sexual exploitation and extremism. Young people can also gain accreditation and will produced films and photography for publication and broadcast online.

Digital Citizens is funded by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and BBC Children in Need.
