Young people in or leaving care and living in supported accommodation in Derry/Londonderry use photography to express strong views on issues that effect their daily lives.

They each decided on a subject that is relevant to them and tried to translate their thoughts into a photo.

All 13 of the images were taken in and around the city of Derry.

They were then edited in Comiclife and text/quotes were added to achieve the desired impact.

The young photographers are all residents of First Housing's Jefferson Court and the project was part of Headliners Big Lottery Voices for Change programme

The young people were: Louise Sweeney, Niall Doherty, Sean McElhinney, Damien Irwin, Orlaith Deane, Ricky Jones, Stephen McElhinney, Michael McIntyre and Chelsie Duffy.

These images can be seen displayed on the walls of the Jefferson Court complex.
