The Headliners (UK) North East England team are delighted to be able to deliver Aiming High in Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside and North Tyneside for three years funded by The Santander Foundation, where we seek to work with 30 young people from new, emerging and established migrant communities.

Our project is split into two parts, Aiming High: Your Digital Friend and Aiming High: Looking after your money.

Aiming High – Looking after your Money: This part of the project takes young people through the basics of budgeting and to create a budget with the help of websites and apps safely and living to that budget. They will learn about the importance of keeping financial information digitally safe and reduce their vulnerability to fraud when shopping online and how password protection and limiting the amount of information shared online can keep data safe. We will support young people to identify the opportunities to learn to manage the credit and debt cycle traps and the importance of saving when they can.

These sessions are casual, fun and free and will run for 10-12 weeks for 2-3 hours. Young people will receive group and 1 to 1 support throughout.
