Stories A Donation that Transformed Lives In 2017, a local person who still wishes to remain anonymous, donated £33,000 to The Playtrail. This astounding act of generosity transformed The Playtrail, as it enabled the charity to purchase a mini bus, providing their young people with a new sense of freedom. We worked with members from The Playtrail who wanted to create a film to show us what a difference it the bus had made to them. Playtrail member Isobel stated that "before we got the bus it was difficult as the places we wanted to go to were limited" and Robert proclaims"we go everywhere on the bus. It's great to have good fun with friends and the staff." This film was produced by young people involved in the Headliners project in Derry/Londonderry including Jack, Conal, Isobel, Mark, Conor, Seán, Fionntan, Susannah, Andrew, Michael, Jordan, Robert, Jamie. And staff members: Lauren, John & Claire. It was supported by The Playtrail and the film was made possible through funding from The National Lottery Community Fund.
