Whats Up Sorts it Out

What's Up Project participantsA GROUP of boys from a single identity area in Derry have said that projects like Headliners are needed to keep young people away from anti-social behaviour.

The boys, who took part in personal development sessions and radio skills training, shared some of their experiences of living in an area that is often a scene of violence, sectarianism, rioting and prejudice.

The teenagers are hopeful that they can share the skills they gained at Headliners with their community and through future projects with Headliners will be empowered to change the narrow-minded views of adults in their community.
