How Safe Is Hackney?

I am 32yrs old and lived in hackney all my life and loved it but in the last ten years have seen a massive change in the young today.......no self worth and no respect for themselves and others and no fear of the Law. My son is Twelve and already been the victim of a attempted mugging for his phone and he fears a place i once loved so ive decided with a heavy heart to leave Hackney and move out of London,not to say it wont happen there but i believe it will lower the odds of it happening again. Will always love Hackney but dont feel my children are safe.
