Young people storm the Assembly

Headliners members Holly Foskett, 16, and 15 year old Aaron Crossey have produced a film for the BBC's Learning Zone that will be used to explain the Northern Ireland political system to secondary school pupils in England.

Two young reporters were given an opportunity to visit Stormont to make a film for the BBC's Learning Zone.

Aaron Crossey and Holly Foskett went to the Assembly and spoke to MLAs and saw how the television station reports on politics.Holly and Aaron

When the Headliners team, BBC's Paul Doran and the camera crew entered the great marble hall the tour began.

The first stop was at the BBC's studio where a huge debate about education was being recorded.

They saw how the BBC and the media have a huge part in how politics is seen and broadcast in Northern Ireland.

They stopped at the great marble hall where the team got a chance to meet MLAs and talk about how they feel about the political system in Stormont.

One MLA, Basil McCrea said that he thought "young people should get more involved in politics" and that he had "organised a rave in Stormont to try and get young people more involved in politics."

Basil McCrea also added that he would "try and do something like that again as everyone enjoyed themselves and it got more people interested in politics."
