The Date

Young people from Headliners in Belfast and the Northern Ireland Deaf Youth Association got together to produce a film that promotes positive towards the deaf communtiy. In the film the young people decided to switch roles - Headliners young people played the role of deaf young people and vice versa. This helped each group get a better understanding of their respective difficulties in communicating. The resulting film delivers a powerful message in a light-hearted manner. The film was written, directed and played by the young people.
