Do young people get the council

As part of Derry City Council's Community Relations Week events Headliners conducted vox-pops with young people to find out how little or how much they knew about the council and what it does.

This piece of audio was played at the official launch of DCC's 'Do you get the Guildhall?' workbook for schools.

The launch took place in the council chambers and was attended by the Mayor of Derry city, Gerard Diver, Deputy Town Clerk, John Meehan and pupils and teachers from the school chosen to pilot the project, St Cecilia's College. Also present were community relations officers and teachers and pupils from other schools in the city.
