The Big Issue

Holly Foskett, 15, observes Big Issue sellers and how they are received.

So many people pass Big Issue sellers by without giving them a second thought. Ironically, it may be that the big issue vendors face today, are the current prejudices of our society. If you don't judge a book by it's cover, why judge a magazine by it's seller?

The Big Issue exists to offer homeless and vulnerably housed people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income. They're a registered charity who believe in giving 'hand up' not a 'hand out' and the magazine is a great read too.
