About this story

At the beginning of 2008 Lyra McKee, 18, from Belfast was commissioned by Channel 4 to produce a short film about Headliners. The film was shot over a short period of time in February.

It was the first time that Lyra had ever worked on her own video story and it was a “steep learning curve” for her and ultimately very enjoyable.
