EC1 FM Radio Project

Young Reporters from Headliners produced a 40-minute radio programme with 1Xtra DJ Mike Anthony. It was made as part of a 12-week radio project in partnership with City University and Islington Volunteering Association.

But they didn't stop there, they also made a radio package broadcast on BBC World Service and went to the House of Commons to interview Emily Thornberry MP.

The reporters were Dowa Ojarike, 17, Chinwe Izamoje, 15, Chisom Edomobi, 14 and Ginisha Sadasivan, 17.
