Actions Speak Louder

In March 2007, the government recognised the achievements of over 120 young people who were involved in their local communities through the Youth Opportunities Fund.

Fifteen projects from around the country were selected by a panel of young people to receive additional funding to help the group do something more to benefit their local community.

An awards ceremony was held in London at the end of March to recognise and reward the young people who had been chosen, and the young people involved in deciding who gets the money. Our reporters were asked to go and report on the the event at the IMAX in London.
