She has been treated badly by the media but it’s her own fault. Many people would say that if Madonna wanted things her own way she would serve herself better by avoiding controversy. But that wouldn’t be the pop diva’s style. She needs publicity like the rest of us need oxygen.
All the media attention comes with the fame, you would look over it if she had been out of the spotlight for a few years but she has not. She was the one who choose to make a comeback this year. It was the media who helped to put her in her exalted position. She can’t expect that her every move will go by without criticism. A higher profile attracts further attention from the media.
It should also be noted that Mrs Ritchie, knowing that she is going to be followed and photographed, didn’t really go out of her way to conceal her plans. Did she really have to perform the very public dance for the cameras on her visit to the Malawian orphanage?
If Madonna wanted to play it cool and to adopt a child for what would have appeared to be the right reasons, maybe she could have retired, adopted the child and then if she was really that eager for attention make a comeback. Her approach has not been fair on her adopted child. She took time of for her two other kids. So is she favouring her own kids for the adoptive one?
This child will have no mother to look after it when its mother is one of the world’s most famous people and is always on the road. It might be reasonable to assume that the child will be raised by a plethora of well paid nanny’s. Madonna will be mother to the child in name only.
Ok maybe the media could have been less intrusive but they are just doing there job. Just like Madonna is when she is on the road and not looking after her kids.
If this was a normal mother and father (Guy Ritchie) they would be talking about all the time they might have to spend anyway from the child. Just because they are millionaires and one of the most famous couples in the world is it acceptable that their kids are left with nannies who are complete strangers to them.
We think that Madonna has been treated a little unfairly by the media but hey, that’s life when you’re famous and it’s not the media’s fault that see choose this path is life. And oh! Celebrities stop doing a “Jolie.”
