Review: Into The Blue

Very quickly the rivals want their goods and friendships are tested.

Into the blue is an exciting nail biting thriller about treasure, drugs, love, money, friendship and betrayal.

When I first saw the trailer I can honestly say I thought 'nope definitely wont like this film'. Barely two years and there's already an attempt to remake the dud Open Water, but I couldn't have been more wrong.

It's not often a film comes along, which is a combination of Jaws, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Fast and the Furious, but that's exactly what this film is. A teenage film fanatics' dream.

[Unknown]Four friends dive into the shark infested waters of the Caribbean in search for a mythical shipwreck, which they believe will change their lives forever. Instead they discover a sunken plane of illegal goods nearby. The friends make a pact to stay away from the plane but then there's always one who has to ruin it for everybody. Very quickly the rivals want their goods and friendships are tested.

This film sees both Jessica Alba and Paul Walker in one of their best performances yet. They've played the same type of characters in other films, so not a lot different there but their fans will not be disappointed.

This film is gripping and well composed. When I watch an action thriller I want to believe that something like this could happen in real life and I bet a lot of young people will relate to the law versus morality dilemma raised in 'Into The Blue'.

There's a bit of everything for everyone, definitely a movie to see!
