My Life...Coming to London
| For the first few days, things seemed strange because it was so different. |
When I was two years old, my Dad got a job in Australia so my Mum and me decided to go as well. We lived there for three-and-a-half years. So I was five when we came back to London.
It took 24 hours to get to London from Australia in the plane. We lived in Perth in a house with a swimming pool and every birthday I had a pool party. My school had a huge grassy playground with big trees shading the play area because it got really hot during the day.
I couldn't really remember being small in London, so Perth was my home. When my family decided to move back to London, we were sad.
We got to England on a drizzly rainy night but we couldn't go to our new house because there wasn't any furniture. For the first few days, things seemed strange because it was so different.
Now London is my home. I have been back to Australia for a holiday and have kept in touch with my old friends. Even though I miss the beaches and hot weather there I still enjoy playing with my friends and my life in London.
