If I were in charge of ...music venues

what would change if you were in charge of music venues?

If I were in charge of...music venues

...no one would be allowed to sit on the side and be a spoilsport.

If we were in charge of music venues and gigs the first thing I'd do is ban smoking. It's a horrible habit and can get very irritating at a gig.

There would be clean toilets that were easily accessible to everyone and didn't get crowded.

It's not always easy to get a hold of tickets these days. Festivals like Glastonbury sell out with hours. And some people will do anything to get their hands on tickets, so if you are one of the lucky ones I think that you should get into the crowd atmosphere and have fun. This would be compulsory - no one would be allowed to sit on the side and be a spoilsport.

Everyone at a venue should be able to see the band playing so I'd introduce a system whereby the audience stood in order of their height - shorter people at the front and tall people (and people with crazy hair) would have to stand further back.

The change between acts would be seamless to prevent waiting around and any other music played to fill any gaps would be relevant music - no cheesy music or random radio music would be allowed.

Over everything, all venues would be open for everybody. Music is something that is enjoyed by all different kinds of people and venues should see this - music is for everyone not just for over 18s or over 21s.
