Two young reviewers take in 'Bounce', the street-dance sensation show at Sadler's Well theatre in London.

Sitting in front of a simple stage set, designed to look like an urban street, we waited to see the street dance sensation come to life.
And come to life it did. The opening soundtrack was a bit eerie, giving you the feeling that things were not as they seemed. Then suddenly… Bounce! in came three, of the fourteen, hip hopping, break-dancing boogalooing dancers. The performance had only been going for ten minutes and already we, and the rest of the audience, were bopping in our seats!
We were pulled more and more into the performance by a rich mixture of music from modern jazz, hip hop, to seventies Funk complete with afros. It was simply non-stop music, break-beats, somersaults and a fantastic display of dance moves from all the dancers. Not one of them danced in the same way. With each dance movement, each spin, each turn, you could see that all the dancers wanted to come across as an individual.
And, as if this wasn't enough, there was DJ Hazze inviting the audience to join in the entertainment to the cry of: "Everybody in da house make some noise." Clapping singing and swaying, we certainly made some noise.
The fun continued… There was a very funny kung fu part that brought together '70s funk with Bruce Lee-style action, and all in comedy dance-style moves.
All the way through the performance our emotions were teased and our senses awakened, and at the end we were left wanting more.
Bounce is a funky richly varied dance performance even your ''old skool'' granny would enjoy… So go on, treat yourself, and Bounce on down to Sadler's Wells and live a bit.
