I don't think anyone should have cosmetic surgery unless they have a deformity or have an accident or are very unhappy. I am happy with way God made me. Sometimes I say to my mum, 'I'm too skinny', but she says I shouldn't worry. I think the issue of appearance is more difficult for girls. They are worried about looking slim and wearing make-up all the time whereas boys just get out of bed and wash their faces.

Cosmetic surgery shouldn't even be a question if you are a teenager but I can see that there is a lot of pressure on young girls especially from magazines full of models wearing lots of make-up. But they have been made up by professionals and the images are unrealistic. I think the media should use more models who are normal sized. Most models have size eight figures.

I would never have cosmetic surgery. The way we are born is the way we are born. You shouldn't have to have cosmetic surgery to feel happy or beautiful. "I have friends who say they don't eat breakfast because they are on a diet. I don't think people our age should be on diets. I don't believe they realise the damage they are doing to their bodies.

In magazines the celebrities always have golden tans and sometimes I wish I could look that good and think that if I looked like that then everything in my life would be different! I think it is worse for girls because they feel they should be as thin as models and have a perfect nose and face.
