Journalists win Front Page award
Two reporters from the London office of Children's Express collected their award from Andrew Neil at a ceremony at the British Library.
Best Writing Award, September 2006

Ginisha Sadasivan and Annabel McLeod won the best writing award in the over 16+ category in the British Library’s Front Page competition for their article focusing on the plight of young asylum seekers in the UK.
The judging panel included Faisal Islam, Business Correspondent at Channel Four News; Mark Porter, Creative Editor of the Guardian; and ex-editor and broadcaster Andrew Neil.
They were "bowled over" with the piece that focused on an 17-year-old from Eritrea, who arrived by herself in the UK several years ago.
The judges said the first-hand accounts it presented, and depth of research, were impressive, and made it the most publishable article submitted. Ginisha and Annabel have won a week’s work experience each at a daily national newspaper.
