Outreach
Headliners works with hundreds of young people every year, and the majority of our work takes place away from our centres. Read about some of our outreach projects.
Headliners runs several outreach projects throughout the communities where we have newsrooms.
We work in collaboration with other organisations to introduce our programme of learning through journalism programme to a wider audience of young people and to those who cannot travel to the newsrooms.
We produce regular magazines and videos in Islington and Hackney in partnership with local Children's Fund and the projects they fund.
Since April 2007, we have worked in new areas thanks in part to new funding by the Big Lottery. The first of our three workers are based in West London, and the South-East and North-East of England.
In Northern Ireland we work with organisations throughout Belfast and Foyle.
